1. Always keep the barrel pointed in a safe direction when removing the magazine.
2. Put the launcher in SAFE mode.
3. Position your hand under the magazine in order to stop the magazine from dropping when it exits the launcher.
4. Firmly depress the magazine release button.
5. Remove the magazine.
6. Make sure there is not a projectile in the breech. If the breech indicator is in the raised position, press the breech indicator down to clear breech.
