USING THE BREECH INDICATOR:
The Byrna SD launcher is equipped with a breech indicator that allows the user to quickly identify whether a projectile is currently loaded in the breech of the launcher.
The instructions below illustrate how to recognize the current breech status and how to clear the breech of a projectile when desired.
Get familiar with what it looks like when the Byrna SD is loaded. The Breech indicator is popped up. That means you have a projectile in the chamber ready to shoot.
Even if you remove the magazine, you will likely still have a projectile loaded in the chamber unless you have shot all of the projectiles. Check to see if the breech indicator is popped up. You can press it to pop out the projectile.
